Hi, I’m Avery!
I’m a mixed media children’s book illustrator. I live in New York City with my Fiancé and two cats Emmet and Nelson.
I started selling bookmarks at art fairs when I was 5 years old. I’m one of those weird kids who knew exactly what they wanted to be when they were little and that was a children’s book illustrator. Well actually that’s a lie, what I really wanted to be was a super secret spy but let’s be honest, I wasn’t cut out for that. Especially because i’m telling you that now, not so secret. I like to tell magical and silly stories. I am very fond of mischievous characters especially if they are animals.
